This play is a beautiful and bittersweet comedy set in the 1980s in deep south Louisiana. Six very special friends bonded together by mutual triumphs and tragedies played by some of our best local actresses. Sharing each other’s strength and loyalty, despite their differences, beautiful and impulsive Shelby, her strong-willed mother M’Lynn, beauty parlour owner Truvy, confident wealthy widow, Clairee, sharp-tongued Ouiser and mousey newcomer Annelle are guaranteed to make you laugh as well as shed a tear.
