Welcome to the website for the Somerset Fellowship of Drama, the only amateur drama organisation with over 80 member societies all across Somerset. We are best known for our competitions for plays, pantomimes, and musicals, but we also work together to support each other in our theatrical pursuits.

 

Our mission is to ensure that amateur drama is alive and well in Somerset and that all members have access to the best resources possible to help them develop their skills and grow. We strive to create a vibrant and inclusive community of people who share a passion for performance.

Our competitions

Our competitions are both educational and fun! They highlight the best of am-dram across the county and, more importantly, give help, guidance and support at all levels through our adjudications written by experienced and objective teams. 

The SFD Training Scheme

The SFD Training Scheme is a scheme to encourage and assist training and development for amateurs who are members of amateur drama groups who are fully paid up members of the SFD. The scheme is open to all member societies.  Interested? Click here to find out more:
